Part of Global Switch’s major London campus, the London East Data Centre continues to undergo development to expand its highly energy-efficient infrastructure, supporting low PUE performance and future growth. Located just 0.5 miles from the City’s financial district, the site is strategically important for Tier 1 digital operations.
Pipetech was contracted by Dornan Engineering Services to redivert key pipework within the existing rooftop plant room, enabling future expansion of the facility. The works involved the design, prefabrication, and high-level installation of 400mm stainless steel Tru-Bore pipework, all completed in-house by Pipetech. Prefabrication allowed for precise quality control and reduced time on site, ensuring works were delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with the critical programme requirements of a live data centre environment.
