Pipetech was engaged by ADM Pura Foods to increase river water cooling capacity at their production site by installing two new DN300 carbon steel pipework lines. The new lines were routed throughout the plant and connected into existing DN600 infrastructure, requiring careful integration with live systems.
A large portion of the works was installed at high level, using existing pipe bridges. Pipetech designed and installed additional steel supports to accommodate the new pipework safely and efficiently. Despite the complex routing and access challenges, the project was completed on time with minimal disruption to operations, enhancing the site’s cooling capacity and overall resilience.
