The year started off strong in January with the commencement of work for the British Sugar Decarbonisation Project. By March, three brand new evaporators had been successfully installed, and work has continued steadily throughout 2025.
In February, our Fabric shop team expanded, and we welcomed a new apprentice, Jake. He is working towards his NVQ Level 2 Welding Qualification at New City College.
In March, we achieved our ISO Certifications for ISO 9001 in Quality Management, ISO 14001 in Environmental Management & ISO 45001 in Occupational Health & Safety Management. Since receiving these, we have continued to commit to ensuring safe, high-quality experiences for both our clients and employees.
As part of our bid to grow our Engineering Services, we completed the Offsite Prefabricated plantroom and welcomed Paul Cross to Unit 6 as our new DfMA Manager.
May saw the launch of our fully rebranded website, redesigned to improve user experience and reflect the value we deliver to our clients. Since going live, we’ve seen stronger engagement, which is a great sign that the new site is helping us connect with the right people!
Summer got off to a great start with rebranding our office signage, van designs and logo. Across June and August, we held two golf days at the Heron Country Club. Our tournament in June was a Charity Fundraiser for St Luke’s Hospice and we raised £5,665.
June brought our summer party at the Newbury races!
In July, our Project Manager, Adam Coghlan, passed his Level 6 NVQ in Site Management. This achievement formally recognised the high standard of management he had already been delivering and will continue to deliver across our projects. July also saw the release of our Pipetech Safety Portal app. Our SHEQ Manager, Danny Dalgarno, created the app used for storing useful forms and documents, online reporting, ordering PPE and more.
In September, we welcomed Joe Mills to the team as our new commercial manager. In such a short period of time he has made a huge impact.
During October, we were awarded another largescale project from a previous partner, British Sugar. The new phase involves two major packages to upgrade existing plant systems, incorporating both carbon and stainless-steel pipework.
November marked the start of work on 30 Duke Street. This is another collaboration with MACE, and we’re excited to carry this partnership into 2026!
In December, Mark Stafford and Dave Greene joined Pipetech as a buyer and Quality Manager. We’re looking forward to seeing what they can bring to Pipetech in the new year.
As we close out 2025, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved and grateful for the people who made it possible. With new projects on the horizon and strong partnerships guiding us forward, 2026 is already shaping up to be an exciting year.
