As part of their international expansion, Wagners established a new Earth Friendly Concrete® (EFC) production facility in the UK, bringing their ultra-low carbon concrete technology to the European market. EFC offers superior durability and sustainability, reducing embodied carbon by up to 70%—equivalent to saving 250kg of CO₂ per cubic metre poured.
Pipetech was contracted to design, supply, fabricate and install the full pipework systems for the new facility. This included services for steam, process water, and drainage, using a combination of Carbon Steel SCH40 Class 150, HDPE PE100, and Stainless Steel SCH40 materials. All works were delivered to the client’s technical specifications and industry standards, ensuring a high-integrity system to support Wagners’ environmentally focused operations in the UK
