Pipetech Group has completed the installation of a Bluewater Bio filter clear system at Loch Ascog, a key reservoir on the Isle of Bute, Scotland. The loch supplies water to the town of Rothesay and experiences seasonal algae build‑up during the spring and summer months.
To support improved water‑quality management, our team delivered and installed the filter clear unit, which provides both physical and chemical cleaning while supporting beneficial bacteria within the system. This helps maintain clearer, safer water conditions.
The project included the delivery of the filter clear skid and stainless‑steel tank, followed by lifting, positioning, and final placement of the equipment. Our team also completed the associated pipework connections, including the dirty backwash, airline, and clean backwash lines.
The photo sequence shows the full progression on site, from the arrival of the unit, to the placement of the skid and to the final installation of the tank.
